The current Linda Matney Gallery exhibition by 8 William & Mary senior art majors features a diverse investigation into the foundational and observational practices of artmaking.

The current Linda Matney Gallery exhibition by 8 William & Mary senior art majors features a diverse investigation into the foundational and observational practices of artmaking. In many of the works, one finds a sort of conceptual challenge that often raises more questions than answers—asking the viewer to dig deeper.

This show has been a pivotal experience for many of the students. Beyond the excitement of showing in a commercial gallery, they have also garnered a competency with essential exhibiting skills: framing, presentation, installation, and publicity. The Department of Art & Art History is very proud of their accomplishment and wishes them much success with the run of this show!
